Photovoltaic systems can use the YRO fuse as a circuit protection device, which features CE safety certification and a unique appearance. Its biggest feature is “small size, big power”—only 18mm wide, but capable of withstanding high-voltage environments up to 1000V.
The term “fuse” may sound technical, but its function is simple. When the current suddenly increases beyond what the equipment can handle, it sacrifices its internal DC fuse link to cut off the circuit, preventing subsequent equipment damage or safety hazards like fires. Note: It’s the fuse link that cuts the circuit, not the photovoltaic fuse holders. The fuse link is placed inside the fuse holders and can be replaced after failure.
