Un dispositivo de apagado rápido (RSD) es un mecanismo de seguridad eléctrica diseñado para apagar rápidamente un sistema de energía solar en caso de emergencia. Es un requisito del Código Eléctrico Nacional (NEC) de Estados Unidos, que exige que todos los sistemas de energía solar dispongan de un medio para desactivar rápidamente el sistema en caso de incendio u otra situación de emergencia.
