Product Introduction
The roof is equipped with solar panels. In case of fire, maintenance or emergency, what should be done if the power needs to be cut off immediately? Climb the roof? Looking for the power switch? It’s too slow! The YRO rapid shutdown control box is designed to solve these problems.
Its working principle is very simple: When the control box is connected to the module level quick shutdown switch through a cable and within 200 meters, as long as the button on the box is pressed, the power can be cut off quickly within 1 second, and the high voltage of the solar panel can be converted into a safe voltage within 30 seconds. Workers don’t have to wait from day to night, or turn off the power switch of the entire house when repairing, and firefighters don’t have to worry about the risk of electric shock when fighting fires.
Each control box is precisely tested with a multimeter before leaving the factory – to ensure a stable 24V safe voltage output after being powered on, solving the problem of being unusable after installation from the source.
Durability is also its strength: the casing can withstand a cold winter of -30℃ and a sun of 70℃. The IP66 protection rating means that it can still work normally, even if it gets wet in the rain or gathers dust on the construction site.

- What is the use of a 24V output voltage?
This is the signal for the rapid shutdown switch. The voltage is low enough not to hurt people (the safe voltage for the human body is 36V), but stable enough to trigger the RSD 200 meters away, and the signal transmission does not attenuate.
- Is a 1.5mm² cable sufficient?
More than enough! With a low voltage of 24V and a small current of 1.5A, a regular 1.5mm² cable is more than sufficient. It saves money and is easy to wire.
