The unique feature of this ATS is the lock design. With key control, you can choose automatic or manual transfer mode flexibly. When the lock is in the open state, the switch will automatically convert the power supply to achieve fast and seamless switching; When the lock is closed, the manual conversion mode is entered.
The backup power supply of this product can be installed generators, inverters, and batteries. The generator has a self-starting function. When the generator has a self-starting function, the transfer switch will give the generator a signal, and the signal will automatically trigger the generator to start; If the generator does not have a self-starting function, it must be kept normally on.
In terms of installation and maintenance, the switch has been designed with the convenience of actual operation in mind. Technicians can perform maintenance while constantly turning on the main power supply, thanks to its “forced isolation” mode after activating this function, the switch will cut off the physical connection of the main power supply, and the standby power supply at the same time (equivalent to installing a temporary knife to both power supplies), at this time the power switching mechanism will remain in the current state of no action, forming a complete shutdown of the maintenance safety zone.
The switch contact is tinned with copper, which has three advantages: first, it is anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation. The tinning layer forms a dense protective film on the copper surface, which can effectively block the direct contact of oxygen, moisture and corrosive gases (such as sulfide); The second is to reduce the temperature rise, and the contact resistance of tinned contacts is 15%-30% lower than that of bare copper, thereby reducing heat generation. For example, at 100A current, the temperature of the tinned contact rises to 45 °C, while the bare copper contact may reach more than 60 °C. The third is high environmental adaptability, in the industrial environment containing sulfide or salt spray (such as chemical plants, coastal areas), the corrosion resistance of tinned contacts is better than that of silver plated contacts (silver is easy to react with sulfur to produce silver sulfide, resulting in a sharp increase in contact resistance). In addition, the non-toxic properties of the tin coating make it suitable for electrical connections in food machinery and medical equipment.
