As this year comes to an end, we have the opportunity to pause and reflect on the past, as well as consider the direction for the future. For YRO, this year is not defined by a single moment of brilliance or a solitary achievement, but rather by the continuous and subtle progress that occurs in daily life – in production, in communication, and in every collaboration with global customers and partners.
Start: Sign-in and Entry
The annual gathering began with a simple yet ceremonial start: the check-in. Employees and guests streamed into the venue, greeting one another amidst a sea of familiar faces and relaxed smiles.
In the daily routine, our focus is often fixed on processing orders, tracking progress, and managing deliveries. The annual event provided a valuable opportunity to momentarily step away from that pace. It allowed everyone to disengage from day-to-day tasks and gather in one shared space.
The check-in marked the official start of the proceedings. From this point, we embarked together on a review of the past year’s work, setting the stage for the reflection and exchange to come.
Interaction: Game Sessions
To further energize the atmosphere, YRO specially arranged interactive game sessions.
Scoop the Cash
This game was undoubtedly the most anticipated segment of all. Following last year’s event where someone won 800 RMB in cash, even more eyes were on it this time. The rules were simple: blindfolded participants, each holding a wooden scoop, had three attempts to scoop banknotes from a cash-filled box into a plate.
Because the box contained only paper bills, the flat scoop often slid right off them. Even if a note was scooped, it only counted if it landed successfully in the plate. The game tested not just skill, but a hefty dose of luck.
Mystery Gift Boxes
This segment took “surprise” to the extreme! We prepared boxes containing various items, from cash of different denominations to small toys. Each employee made a careful choice when selecting their box. Some drew cash, holding the bills with visible delight; others received toys, examining their prizes closely. Each reveal filled the room with laughter and cheers.
Expectation: Prize Draws and Commendation
As the excitement built, the event moved into one of the most awaited parts: the prize draws and awards ceremony.
First came the announcement of the third-prize winners, with 10 lucky recipients. Their prizes were practical appliances aimed at enhancing daily life and well-being.
Next, five fortunate individuals secured the second prizes—a collection of high-quality items suitable for both business travel and leisurely home life, adding a touch of comfort to their work-life balance.
Then it was time for the first prizes. This year featured two first-place awards, won by one employee from the workshop and another from the warehouse.
Finally, the grand prize took center stage. There was only one, amounting to 2026 RMB. The atmosphere reached its peak when an employee from the Foreign Trade Department stood up. This special figure wasn’t just a pleasant surprise; it carried the company’s best wishes and hopeful expectations for the coming new year.
Finally, it was the awarding ceremony for outstanding employees. The winning colleagues had performed excellently and been conscientious and responsible in 2025, earning recognition through long-term dedication and practical actions. This honor belongs to those who have made silent contributions.
